GENERAL
INFORMATION & TOUR CONDITIONS FOR "GAT" 2005 TRIPS

Land Accommodations: Deluxe and/or First Class Hotels throughout
providing twin beds with bath and/or shower. A single supplement fee of
$295.- Applies for persons using room alone.
Land Transportation: By private deluxe motor coach or other
vehicle. Mercedes vehicles are provided by Mercedes-Benz & German Auto
Tours for the "Auto Touring Day" and each driver will be required to sign
a separate liability waiver provided by German Auto Tours, Inc., Caution:
You may be driving at speeds far in excess of speeds customary in the U.S.
or that you are used to driving. You must be the sole judge and person
taking responsibility for your driving style. Appropriate instructions and
maps will be provided.
Transfers: All Scheduled transfers between airport terminals,
stations, hotels and where mentioned in the itinerary.
Meals: Five full European breakfasts, five luncheons, five dinners,
including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, also included light
meal/snack at the M-B Forum Saturday Night if there is a presentation
scheduled.
Sightseeing & Excursions: As specified in the program. The services
of competent English-speaking tour directors will be provided.
Tips & Taxes: All hotel taxes as imposed by the city or state
governments and gratuities for included hotel and restaurants services are
included.
Air Transportation: Air Transportation is not included in the tour
price. Please refer to the individual airlines for their general terms and
conditions. German Auto Tours, Inc., will be happy to assist you with your
airline reservations and or questions concerning the flights.
Insurance: Travel accident, baggage, trip cancellation and flight
insurance are available and highly recommended. We will furnish this
material on request. We strongly recommend you purchase trip cancellation
insurance in the event of unforeseen circumstances for cancellation
shortly before the trip, such as illness or strikes.
Cancellations & Reservations: SPACE IS GENERALLY LIMITED TO 15-20
people. THE TRIPS FILL UP RAPIDLY! A DEPOSIT OF $500.- PER PERSON IS DUE
WHEN THE RESERVATION IS MADE. Cancellations must be reported to German
Auto Tours, Inc., in writing, and post marked no later than 45 days prior
to departure. Cancellations reported within 45 days of the scheduled tour
departure are non-refundable, however, it will be applied to a future
German Auto Tours, Inc., Event. If a cancellation is reported after full
and final payment has been received, actual expenses, fees and outlays
will be covered and the balance of your total payment will be applied to a
future German Auto Tours Trip within 12 months. We Strongly recommend
trip CANCELLATION INSURANCE!
Possible Changes in Prices: All prices are based on rates
(including foreign Exchange rates) expected to be in effect at the time of
departure. They are subject to change. Itinerary and prices are subject to
revisions due to group size, scheduling of events, availability, airline
schedules and currency fluctuation.
Tour Responsibility: German Auto Tours, Inc., and their handling
agents, act only as agent for the passenger in regard to travel whether by
railroad, motor coach, boat or airplane, and assume no liability for
injury, damage, loss, accident, delay, and/or irregularity which may be
occasioned either by reason of defect in any vehicle, any company or any
person engaged in conveying the passenger. German Auto Tours Inc., and
their handling agents, assume no liability for expenses due to delay
and/or changes in air and/or other services. All such losses or expenses
will have to be borne by the passenger, as tour rates provide for
arrangements only for the time stated. The right is reserved to accept or
retain any person as a member of the tour. In the event the services and
accommodations set forth herein cannot be supplied or in the event there
is a deviation in the itinerary due to causes beyond the control of German
Auto Tours, Inc., it will supply comparable accommodations and no refund
will be made. The tour member waives any claim against German Auto Tours,
Inc., or their representatives for any damage to or loss of property, of
injury to or death of persons due to any act of negligence of any hotel or
any person rendering any of the services and accommodations included in
the ground portion of the itinerary. The issuance or acceptance of a
confirmation letter, vouchers or tickets shall be deemed to be consent to
above conditions. Lufthansa, Delta and other IATA/ARC airlines are not to
be held responsible for any act, omission, or event during the time
passengers are on board their aircraft.
Not Included: Air transportation, passport fees, visa fees, excess
baggage fees, insurance, alcoholic beverages (except as indicated), any
items not specified on the itinerary, and personal expenses such as
telephone calls, valet service, laundry, etc.
